Making Covid-19 vaccination easier
“When your turn to be vaccinated comes, I hope that you take the opportunity as soon as possible”, says Pia Rundgren, director of human resources at LiU. The university is taking initiatives that will make it easier for co-workers to get vaccinated.
Society will benefit greatly if we can stop the spread of Covid-19 and vaccinate as many people as possible as quickly as possible. The more who are vaccinated, the faster we can reduce the spread of infection. It is also in LiU’s interests to help reduce the spread of infection.
Initiatives to make vaccination easier
Feelgood, the company that provides occupational health services at LiU, has reached an agreement with Region Östergötland to provide vaccination during Phase 4 (which is for people aged 18 years and older who have not been vaccinated in the previous phases). This will apply to LiU’s co-workers in Norrköping and Linköping. Co-workers can be vaccinated during working hours, without salary reduction, after agreement with their immediate manager.
“Feelgood will support vaccination, which means that more slots will be available when your turn comes to book an appointment. If co-workers can be vaccinated during working hours, we can contribute to minimising the spread of infection, and give impetus to the vaccination drive. It’s great to be able to help”, says LiU’s director of human resources, Pia Rundgren.
Region Östergötland schedules the various age groups for vaccination, and provides information about when to book an appointment.
Where will the vaccination take place?
You choose the location that suits you when booking through Region Östergötland’s offer or Feelgood. If you choose Feelgood in Linköping, the vaccination will be given at the Feelgood premises in Tannefors, while in Norrköping you can get your vaccination close to Feelgood, in the Lundberg premises.
More information about booking Covid-19 vaccination at Feelgood will be available when everything is in place.
