Apply for travel grants

Are you a researcher younger than 40 years? If so, you can apply for travel grants to participate in scientific conferences or visit universities abroad. The funds are available from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Jubileumsfond. Closing date for applications is 30 October.

Each term, approximately SEK 300,000 for travel grants is distributed from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Jubileumsfond. The grants are intended for younger researchers (younger than 40) who have completed a doctoral degree and doctoral students. Competition for the travel grants is stiff, and many applications are received every year. They are primarily intended to cover travel costs in association with scientific conferences at which the researcher is to participate actively in some manner. Travel grants can also be awarded for visit to universities abroad.

The call for the autumn term grants will open on 30 September, and the closing date is 30 October.
