Board and director of WASP
LiU was recently named as host university for this large-scale investment in autonomous systems of the future. The board and director have now been appointed.
LiU is the host University for the Wallenberg Autonomous Systems Program, or WASP, in which the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, along with several universities and companies, is investing SEK 1.8 billion over a period of 11 years.
The director/programme director and the board have now been appointed.
Professor Lars Nielsen has been named as director/programme director. The positions are open-ended, though no longer than the end of 2019.
