Lost or stolen IT equipment
Lost or stolen IT equipment must always be reported to the IT Division. Depending on which equipment you have, it may be possible for the IT Division to, for example, lock the device or the SIM card in a telephone to prevent misuse.
Always file a police report when equipment is stolen.
Inform the IT Division that the device has been lost or stolen.
Contact the Helpdesk immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or 013-282828.
You can use MinIT to discover the identifier of your computer (under “Devices & Apps”). It’s useful if you include this when creating a case, to aid in the case handling.
