New telephony supplier – change your SIM card

On Wednesday 3 February, you need change to the new SIM card on your phone so that you can start your telephony services with the new operator Telenor. Restart your phone when you have switched SIM card. 

The document in the envelope with your SIM card contains a temporary telephone number that is incorrect. You will keep the phone number you currently have, so ignore that information. Also, note that the information on the back of the envelope is addressed to private persons, not companies. 

If you need support, there's co-workers available the IT service desks on Campus Valla, Campus Norrköping and University Hospital Campus, who have extended their opening hours 3-5 February to help you. Details about that and more information is available here

Redirection and preferences at tele.liu.se 

The easiest way to manage your phone is now to visit the web app at tele.liu.se. This can be accessed from a web browser running on a computer, in a mobile phone, or on a tablet computer. 

It is possible to, for example, redirect your telephone, listen to messages left on your voicemail, set scheduled activities for redirected calls, and search in the LiU internal telephone directory.

Easy access to tele.liu.se 

A bookmark has been added automatically on the home screen for co-workers with Iphones that are registered in the Mobile device management system (MDM). Other co-workers may add this bookmark to tele.liu.se manually. It will be shown as an app icon and that way it’s easy to access.

Recurring acitivties (redirections)

After the change to a new telephone operator on 3 February, Teleservice has noted that recurring acitivites settings have unfortunately not been included in the move to Telenor. If you have previously had recurring activities set, you will need to schedule them yet again. You can do this on your own under the Activities tab on tele.liu.se.

Recurring activities for group numbers

Those who use recurring activities for group numbers can contact infocenter@liu.se for help setting up these schedules again. At tele.liu.se you only see acitivities for your own number.
