Improve your digital teaching skills

(Updated 2020-05-04 08:20)

The spread of the coronavirus covid-19 has raised the question of how LiU can act in a scenario in which campus-based activity must temporarily be replaced by online teaching.

Keep up-to-date with the most recent LiU information relating to the coronavirus at Inside LiU.

Didacticum has published practical information about how to manage various types of education using digital technology. Think through how your teaching and material could, if necessary, work in such a situation.

It is recommended that you test out the digital tools available to co-workers at LiU. This will make it easier for you to evaluate and choose a solution that suits you best. Several instruction videos about both Microsoft Teams and Zoom are available for self-study. Information is also available about which tools you can use in different types of situation. Courses in these tools are available from the IT Division, and it is also possible to obtain help from a pedagogic developer from Didacticum to discuss how teaching activities can be carried out in digital form.
