Launch of Horizon Europe at LiU

Grants and Program Offices (GPO) welcome you to the Launch of Horizon Europe at Linköping University! On May 3-7, we organize a series of webinars on the new framework programme for funding research and innovation, Horizon Europe.

The webinars will be held between 09.00 and 12.00 and each day is dedicated to a different topic.

May 3 – Introduction to Horizon Europe
May 4 – Pillar 1: Excellent Science
May 5 – Pillar 2: Global challenges and European industrial competitiveness
May 6 – Pillar 3: Innovative Europe
May 7 – Participation and rules

    We provide an update on Horizon Europe, EU's new Framework Programme for funding research and innovation.   • Report on strategy proposal for Horizon Europe
    The report "Kraftsamling för Horisont Europa" is a proposal for a strategy for participation in Horizon Europe for Sweden and Swedish actors in research and innovation. It has been developed by the Swedish Research Council, Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas, the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare, and the Swedish National Space Agency on behalf of the Swedish government. Apply for SSF : Future Research Leader (FFL-8)

For the eighth time, the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) is investing in the flagship program “Future Research Leaders” (FFL-8). Around 140 successful researchers have participated in the program since the year 2000. Another 16 young researchers are now given the opportunity to participate and recieve a grant of SEK 15 million covering a period of five years, as well as a solid leadership training.

SFF supports research in the natural sciences, engineering and medicine. Grantees must intend to work full-time at a Swedish research organisation – university or public or private non-profit research institute. The grant is primarily intended for building a research group at a research organisation chosen by the grantee. The last day to apply is the 16th of August. Read more

Three researchers from LiU awarded with the Swedish Research Council's consolidator grant
A total of 20 applicants were awarded grants, and three of them are LiU researchers who will be awarded SEK 12 million each over six years: Anna Storm, Anna Öst and Magnus Jonsson. Read more


Grants Office awarded with Junior Faculty Prize 2020!

Since 2009, LiU Junior Faculty has been announcing a prize for the most prominent researcher in supporting junior researchers. In 2020, Junior Faculty decided to also include organizations when selecting a winner, and the prize went to LiU Grants Office! Read more
