Grants Office awarded with Junior Faculty Prize 2020!

Since 2009, LiU Junior Faculty has been announcing a prize for the most prominent researcher in supporting junior researchers. In 2020, Junior Faculty decided to also include organizations when selecting a winner, and the prize went to LiU Grants Office with the motivation:

“…the board decides to attribute the 2020 prize to the GRANTS OFFICE for their amazing work and support for the early career Researcher. The GRANTS OFFICE, represented by Agneta Jansson, Head of Grants Office, is a very important organization for the establishment of young researchers as independent researchers, aiming to support them in their funding search to develop their own project.” (from announcement at https://old.liu.se/juniorfaculty/junior-faculty-prize?l=en)

The staff at Grants Office is happy and humble to be the first group to receive this prestigious prize that acknowledges support to young researchers. Writing grant applications is a crucial skill for all researchers, especially in the beginning of a research career. We at Grants Office think it is very important to assist young researchers in this process and we will continue with this work, says Agneta Jansson, Head of Grants Office.

The prize was given at the digital Career Day, organized by Junior Faculty and Forum Scientium on the 7th of December, 2020.
