Call for Presentations at Pedagogikdagarna March 2020
"Pedagogikdagarna" March 17-18, 2020
Call for Presentations
“Pedagogikdagarna” is a conference that is open to all employees at Linköping University. It takes place at Campus Norrköping (March 17) and Campus Valla (March 18) and offers an opportunity to listen to, discuss and present pedagogical development. You are welcome to submit an abstract, and the deadline for submissions is November 29.
Theme and keynote speakers
The theme is “FRAMTIDENS LÄRANDE” (The Future of Learning, or Learning in the Future). We specifically welcome presentations on future learning environments and the interplay between technique, students, society, and higher education. We are also interested in examples of high‑quality education and learning environments.
There are two keynote speakers. Professor emerita in medical psychology Åsa Nilsonne will present her views on learning and emotions, and how these may change in the future (Norrköping, March 17). Jan Gulliksen, professor in human-computer interaction and deputy vice-chancellor in digitalization, will present the potential effects of digitalization and future societal changes on higher education (Linköping, March 18). Both presentations will be in Swedish.
Submit your abstract
We welcome three types of presentations. A Regular Presentation (40 min.) may be an ordinary oral presentation, a seminar or a workshop. A Mini-Presentation (15 min) is usually an oral presentation. A Poster Presentation may be a conventional poster, but we welcome more interactive events such as demonstrations or the testing of a digital learning tool, an examination or a learning activity. The posters should be active during coffee-breaks and mini-presentations, approx. 2 hours in total.
The deadline for submission is 29 November, and accepted presentations will be announced on 13 December.
